Dan Waltzer: Co-Founder and CTO

Dan Waltzer, a graduate of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, is an entrepreneur with an extensive background in product development. As someone who always thinks about how things can be done differently and better, Dan has worked with over 30 startups and new ventures to plan, build, and launch their products in the market; he is now acting as the CEO of ahoy! , an email platform for online businesses. Dan played varsity golf in high school and was a member of the club team in college; he made it through his entire athletic “career” without any serious injuries, until he tore his ACL playing pickup basketball at the local LA Fitness. Sure, he didn’t face the same obstacles as a D1 athlete, but he is no stranger to the mental and physical challenges of overcoming a completely debilitating injury. As a founding member of the Sideline Therapy team, Dan is excited to help the company build and grow its platform and help change the lives of young athletes.

Steven Cramer: Lead Editor

Steve Cramer is a writer, editor, and graduate of Friends Select School and the University of Pittsburgh. A Philly native, Steve played baseball through high school and on men’s league teams in college, and although he enjoyed his time in the Steel City, he’s happy to be back home. Prior to joining Sideline Therapy, Steve worked as a men’s stylist and salesman, and as a content writer for multiple Philadelphia-area companies. Though he was lucky to make it through his baseball career without any major injuries, he understands the difference that a positive outlook and support system can make in the life of an athlete and competitor, especially in those going through rehabilitation. As a lifelong Philly sports fan, Steve sought a career that would allow him to remain involved with the sports he loves so dearly while utilizing his skill set as a wordsmith; needless to say, he’s excited to be on the Sideline Team. Outside of work, Steve enjoys writing songs, traveling, and window shopping at the King of Prussia mall.

Max Dolente: Director of Video Production

Max Dolente is a graduate of Conestoga High School and Villanova University. He has an extensive background in videography and filmmaking, both in editing and directing films that have award nominations in film festivals across the country. Max was a two sport letterman at Conestoga High School playing football and baseball throughout his high school career.  He continued with baseball as a Division 1 athlete at Hofstra University. Throughout his athletic career, concussions became a reoccurring problem for Max, and he developed an understanding of the difficulty that comes with being sidelined –  watching his teammates compete while rehabilitating from an injury.  He remembers vividly the emotional toll that this hiatus had on him.  After 2 years of Division 1 competition, Max transferred to Villanova University where he made the decision to convert his passion for baseball to videography and film making.  As a videographer with Sideline Therapy he is now able to immerse this passion into projects that now combine his love of sports and videography.
